How on earth does one use a word like "inkhorn"? "Don't be such an inkhorn!" - ? - I've used "Don't be so pedantic" but for someone who is ostentatiously pedantic I'd rather say "Gods but you're prissy!" - unless of course, I'm the one being inkhorny then it's just witty!
